The Actor’s Physical Activity from the Perspective of Sport Rehabilitation

Actors in movement are not only artists performing before an audience but also athletes, so they should be aware of certain processes and methods of training, regeneration and post-workout compensation. By understanding these processes and methods, they can minimize injuries and pain, or even prevent them. The lecture will address the complexity of the actor’s physical activity, the ways of reducing overexertion resulting from intense physical activity, and forms of post-workout compensation.

Piotr Bursiewicz

graduated from the Academy of Physical Education in Wrocław and has an over thirty-year experience in sports massage and rehabilitation. He works with athletes from a variety of sports. He has developed an innovative system of working with patients based on three elements: detailed diagnostics, individually selected treatments and education in body awareness and self-therapy. He has trained in countries such as the RSA, Thailand, Germany, the Czech Republic, China and Brazil.
